Milena Canonero, four-time Academy Awards Winner for costume design, directed Amaro Lucano commercial with Dario Cioni. The story is set in the 19th century when the Italian liqueur was created. The faithful reconstruction is laced with humour, as the lavish period setting is disrupted by a series of contemporary clichés. As a result, the history and the contemporaneity of Amaro Lucano are conveyed.
